What kind of hair and lace do you sell in your collection?
At Nefertiti Heir Collection, we sell virgin, raw and 613 hair extensions. Our bundles are 100% unprocessed hair and has not been altered by steam or any chemicals. The wefts are full and luscious, and our hair is tangle free. Our bundles come from a single donor and are “minimal to none” shedding. Each texture comes from a single donor and are cuticle aligned which means every strand in the weft moves the same way.
We sell 13x4 and 13x6 frontals in transparent and HD lace; and 5x5 closures in transparent and HD lace. Our lace takes color and bleach very well. They come with single knots to make bleaching your knots easy. We also sell pre-made wigs and 613 hair.
What is the difference between a pre-made wig and a custom made wig?
Pre-made wigs are factory-made wigs. These are wigs that come un-customized and ship directly from our vendors. Custom made wigs are specifically designed for you and can either be hand sewn or machine made using a sewing machine.
What is the difference between HD and transparent lace?
HD lace is currently the thinnest lace in the market. It is made from HD film and is practically invisible when installed correctly. HD lace was initially made to be used on actors/actresses as it has no flash back and does not show on camera. Therefore, HD lace is expensive compared to other lace.
Transparent lace also gives the appearance of invisibility when tinted to the correct skin color and installed properly. It is affordable and can be worn more on an everyday basis.
What is the difference between a frontal and a closure?
A frontal and closure differ in measurements. Frontals help recreate the hairline from ear to ear, while closures help recreate the natural parting of the hairline.
Does the hair tangle or shed?
The hair from our collection does not tangle with proper care. All hair sheds just like the hair on your head. However, our shedding is “minimal to none” with the exception that you maintain proper care. Minimal to none means that the shedding is hardly noticeable.
Can I color/dye the hair?
Yes, both our virgin and raw virgin hair collection can be colored and bleached safely. Our hair is not chemically processed and therefore can undergo color/bleach. Proper maintenance including conditioning/deep conditioning and properly treating it can maintain the longevity of your hair after being processed. We recommend a professional to color/dye your hair.
How much does each bundle weigh?
Our bundles weigh 3.2-3.5oz.
How many bundles of hair do I need?
The number of bundles needed depend on the lengths you plan to purchase. Our wefts are very full. If you are purchasing16-24in, we recommend you purchase at least 3 bundles. If you are purchasing 26in and longer, we recommend you purchase at least 4 bundles. You can also get away with using 2 bundles of 16” if you are looking to create a bob style wig.
